Bekabad District
The industrial gateway of the Tashkent region
Bekabad District lies in the south-east of the Tashkent region, sharing 82.6 km of border with Tajikistan and 72.3 km with the Syrdarya region. Founded in September 1926, it spans 749.69 km² and is home to 171,300 residents across 51 mahallas. A strong agricultural base — 6.9% of the region’s farm output — together with growing industry and two industrial zones makes it a strategic destination for investment.
